Justin Bieber, 17, planned the epic date with Selena Gomez, 19, at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sept. 23 , first reported by TMZ.com, for weeks before surprising her after the pair attended Demi Lovato’s concert at the Nokia Center.
“Justin practiced how to lead Selena through an underground hallway multiple times so he knew exactly where to go after the concert,” reveals a source. ”Selena was very confused when Justin took her that way after the concert but she went along with it because she thought their car was parked in an out of the way place.”
Justin apparently got the idea after watching Adam Sandler‘s Mr. Deeds, where the title character surprises his love by pulling a similar stunt at Madison Square Garden.
